Fashionista sisters Lucy and Clare founded their clothing brand Luce & bear during 2021. Tired of mass-produced clothing and accessories, produced by materials & methods that are both deleterious to the humans involved and also the environment around them, their aim was simple; to build a company and produce a range of light-hearted well-made clothing that has the concern for both the people making the products and the materials used at its heart.
Their business has gained much momentum in the last 4 short years and now they boast an online shop, as well as visiting many local markets including Sheriff Hutton! Further to that, they are finalists in the “Muddy Stiletto” awards for Best Women’s Style.
