Who We Are
Sheriff Hutton’s monthly market will usually be held on the third Sunday of every month or thereabouts at the village hall from 10.30am - 1.30pm. See below for upcoming dates.
Come and enjoy our much-loved volunteer-led village market, supporting local producers and community groups.
Discover a vibrant mix of fresh produce, artisan foods, handmade treats and locally crafted drinks. We also have a range of stunning art, crafts, skincare products, cards, clothing, books, pet products, plants and interiors.
Our friendly market cafe serves tasty hot sandwiches, homemade cakes and plenty of tea and coffee. Here you have the perfect Sunday village event welcoming visitors from near & far.

With a variety of traders, the market changes every month.
A community led market
The event is organised by villagers and raises funds for local community groups and organisations within Sheriff Hutton and the local area. Since starting up in 2019, the market has raised over £40k for the community from the cafe and general market profits.
Since 2023 the village market has donated over £9,000 to local groups in support of their activities.
The cafe serves an array of homemade hot and cold food and is run by a different local group each month. Thanks to your support, to date the café has raised over £30,000. The profits have been retained by each group hosting the café.
