I have always been interested in crafting and before covid (if you can remember such a thing) I took part in a needlefelting course and although I enjoyed it I did not really continue with it. Then lockdown happened and like a lot of people I tried to find things to do and thought back to the needlefelt class.
I really enjoyed it and when members of my family started to place orders with me I thought that maybe other people would like to have one of my creations. I spent the rest of lock down building up a large stock of reindeers, dogs, sheep, teddy bears and anything that people suggested really.
Once lock down was over and craft fairs started around the villages again I was pleasantly surprised by how well they were received. I still try to make at least one piece every two days or so to keep my stock up and now here I am displaying my little creations in a craft market.
Thank you for reading. Kathy
